The most requested, long awaited post is finally here. Batchim. God’s gift and curse to all Korean learners. Even the word itself is a perfect example of how complicated Batchim (받침) is to foreigners / Korean Second Language (KSL) learners. For those that don’t know, Batchim is the bottom or lower position in a Korean syllable. I will show you the final consonants to understanding and pronouncing Batchim – along with some tips and tricks!

I love the Taurus x Jungkook pairing a lot because Taurus and Virgo complement one another so well. They’re earth signs so they’re both pretty down-to-earth and relaxed, but Taurus is generally a lot more friendly and outgoing while Virgo is a pretty shy sign and they have this beautiful way of making Virgo feel comfortable enough to open up. When it comes to Virgos, opening up and allowing themselves to be vulnerable can take quite a bit of time, but Taurus is very patient and understanding. (All the Tauruses I’ve ever known are very sweet and accepting and Jungkook has stated in an interview that the thing he dislikes the most is prejudice.)

They both share this incredible determination to be successful and they really admire that about one another, but Virgo has a tendency to push themselves too far because they’re perfectionists and they can become very critical of themselves if they aren’t good at something right away. Taurus works tirelessly but also steadily toward their goals and they can teach Virgo a lot about patience and acceptance.

Taurus is very romantic and sensual while Virgo is super analytical - they prefer to think rather than feel (and often try to feel with their mind instead of their heart) - but Taurus has this way of unearthing (sorry puns) Virgo’s sensuality. A lot of people think that Virgo is a prudish sign because its symbol is the virgin, but that’s not true at all. They can actually be really sweet and romantic (and dirty-minded too) it just usually takes a more romantic, sensual sign like Taurus to bring that side of them to light. The other thing about Taurus is that they’re not clingy. Don’t get me wrong, they need physical affection, but they’re not needy (Virgos actually tend to be pretty independent, especially when they’re young, and the idea of someone relying on them completely can scare them off) and they know when to give their Virgo space. At the same time, Virgo needs someone who is loyal and dependable. They definitely still need their alone time, but they also need to know that their loved one will be there when they need them.
